 "But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."

PUSH is about helping you discover God's dream for your life so you become the blessing you were meant to be. 

Sometimes in our lives we have to push  our way through  things whether we feel it is too difficult, hard to achieve, or we are just bored and lazy. I find myself sitting at a women's clinic where I  sat for an exam around many expecting mothers. My spirit, wisdom, intellect, feeling  something hit my mind and soul so deep.  That our first glance of life is when a mother pushes her child from her womb. If  something goes wrong they call in the medical team to do a C-Section. So if the first few pushes don’t succeed then someone helps. No matter that first push had to happen to go into the direction in which you need to step forward. 

Are you stuck cause you’re not pushing?

Never pushing ourselves keeps us in  the same area where we are. Many of us complain about stagnation  on our journey in life. We come up with excuses which are wasted time in which we could have been pushing ourselves to the next level in which God has plan for your life. 

I found myself restless the night I came that day. I decided to grab a bible verse or few to help calm a worried soul. That week before I was writing a bible for a script I wrote for class and finishing it up. It was then I realized that if I don’t make the first step  of pushing myself to do it, that it will never be done.

All these ideas I have for something I prayed for will take hold. I could visualize it but I was lazy on my part of pushing to get it.  I came to James and realized  it was one I haven’t heard in years.  I was actually snuggling up with my daughter's bible I purchased which she forgot while away for college. It was one I heard from  my grandmother to my mother and by so many people. Faith without works is dead. There it was staring me in my face at about 1 am the next morning. 

James 2: 14-26

Faith without works is dead. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.       James 2: 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. 

You see the life in those mothers' wombs at the clinic was not yet exposed to the world and needs a little help when that baby tries to push from the womb of its mother.  So expected mothers push to help and when they more need help a medical team assists. You see the faith was the appearance of this woman's belly growing, she could feel life but only when that baby in the womb pushed, she knew it was time. 

Are you lazy on a pregnancy that God’s been planning to give you in your life? Was there a calling that you knew you had to do but never did? Is there a prayer you left at the altar that looked like it was getting dust at heaven doors? Maybe you didn’t push. 

Matthew 25:14–30 Parable of Talents

It goes back to the parable of talents, where one of the lazy saverants did nothing and came up with some excuse of how the master was. The Lord shamed him and gave the one talent he had to another. He threw that servant into outer darkness. Are you living up to what God has called you? Are you taking all that which God has let you learn, experience and make something out of it? Did you come back to the kingdom and become a blessing to someone else? We build others faith when we help them but most of all see us in our works and faith. So they push as well. 

Yes there’s a medical team or a pushing team in churches if not there should be. 

I’m telling everyone that had dreams and visions that they are not dead long as you are here. God never promise it was going to be easy.

There were two women we know well in the bible who wanted children and couldn’t. Maybe you’ll feel like you can’t push. 

In Genesis three visitors came to Abaraham . Sarah didn’t think she could have a baby. He predicted she would have a son. Sarah said I’m too old. What did this visitor say? Is anything too hard for the Lord? What about Elizabeth having John. I knew that it came as a surprise that she'll be carrying a baby at the same time as Mary. You older women push to make way for the younger women to bring forward God's promises. Elizabeth’s son was preparing the way for the king that was coming. He would baptist Him before being tempted by the Devil.   Sometimes in life you just have to push yourself to get it done.

That one push can change your life and end up changing many more. Never give up inside on something that is right and rooted inside of you. It’s inside of you for a good reason. You won’t know until you have giving birth to that which you push.  

Visualize Your Best Days

 

You heard many of times we are who we believe we are. It sound kind of corny but actually those words are the truth. How we see ourselves is what we reflect out to others. It's not just  our appearance that it has it's most affect.  Our whole life can come impaired if we believe our lives are not what we want it to be. So we must start seeing our lives with qualities of progressing and not regressing. We attract what we give out. If we give out negative energy as sadness, anger, defeat than the people we attract will be the same way. 

A man's character is known by the kind of company he keeps. - Proverbs 13:20 

If we decide to visualize positive things in our lives like being happy, smiling, being satisfied in our condition, expecting greater and a change for the better we will have the company of those believers. 

You see we have the power to manifest greatness or insignificance. 

Associate with same like people who support your vision, who accept and love you for you, and as my grandmother said feeding those who mean you no good give them a long handle spoon. When you visualize happiness, you don't need someone wishing you the worst. 

I was once like you saying it's not true that I can not  change my life. Those was the wrong words. You have all the power to change your life if the creator agrees. I believe in a God. This spiritual belief that is learned through many cultures and religion seen to proven itself. One way we can start changing the things we don't like about our lives is to start to see it in our mind's eye. When some people hear of the mind's eye they think of it, as some scary occult third eye magic. It's not that at all. I am a Christian and my bible reads: 

"And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. [3] For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."

Did you hear that before you journal and make a goal? Write the vision!

There was a vision first. There was an idea, a plan, an option. It was a vision. 

The Christian bible teaches we are made in God's image. One thing we all can understand in this biblical story of Genesis that when God spoke  things was created.  So our God thought and spoke. So being created like Him we have the power in our minds to create long as it stays in the order of God's plan for our lives. 

Am I'm prescribing you to go home and daydream all day of wishes? No.

We all know with mediation and prayer without works is dead. One thing we believe in  Metaphysical Science is that our thoughts correspond to the emotional energies that discharge into the auric shield in the universe.  For us Christians reaching the omniscient God.

Yes sometimes things Is What It Is at the present, but believing, visualizing , praying God gives those words back "So It Is." We are rewarded what was tarry so long. 

It all starts from the way we think. The way we vision things to be. We do know that weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. 

My own story I will share with you. After high school I wanted a degree in something because my parents had dreams to be college graduates. During the their times things was not as open for those who was known as Negros.  Singing was my first choice and maybe a teacher.  I find myself in courses that was far beyond my dreams. I didn't care because I wanted more than a college certificate. I wanted a paper that said degree. After becoming disable from my present work, I took classes that was for my interest. I claim after looking at a goal list I made years ago, I am never getting a degree. I am never going back to any college and waste my time.  You see I had enough earned college hours that I had enough for a two year degree going toward my four years. None of it added up since I was move here and there. I had jumble mess of nothing. 

I decided to leave that goal, vision I wrote in a file 13.  A file of never mind Lord, it was not your plans.  So eager to want to be on YouTube and wanting subscribers. I wanted fans and somehow meet a new guy,  I saw this degree google out of no where. I fought for nights wanting to do it and not do it.  I wrestle within myself, that I was making a fool of myself again. 

I took  a chance after 28 years  I have earned a B. S. It was nothing I planned at all. I was creating a resume online, when I looked over my resume I think I have more than thirty certificates. I have  tons of earned college hours.  Finally, the one thing I said never mind, although I never stop believing and loving Him. I now have. 

If you feel down. If you are sad and depress. I will tell you change your vibes.  

If things not going well learn to be satisfied. Don't lesson to others but follow what's inside. 

What might seen evil to someone else might not at all be evil. You see I thought I was going to learn a lot of occult stuff and western beliefs.  I learned more on being Christ Consciousness. 

Tarot for Songwriters

 TAROT FOR SONGWRITERS

What one thing that tarot and rocking roll have in common? Rock and roll music was called the work of the devil in 1967 and tarot also in the 60’s and 70’s was known as evil. They both had a bad reputation of being  wicked. Over time many have changed their view on music and tarot. 

After watching The Simple Tarot blog for the first draft for writers using tarot, as a songwriter and lyricist I knew that this could be done. As an experienced songwriter you can understand the format easily. For our audience who is interested in giving lyric writing a test drive we will shuffle the cards for a chorus which will be I’ll hook. That is the part of the song that seems to repeat itself in most songs that are not so complex. Next we will shuffle cards for verse one and verse two. Once you feel comfortable you can add an extra verse or who knows you might want to study songwriting like I have done for years from journaling as a child wanting to be a singer to a mature adult who wants to pitch her first hit song. Please note you don’t have to be a vocalist to  be a songwriter.  

1. Prepare for your reading as you do in all your reading. Maybe it’s cleansing your deck or mediation.

2. After you have chosen your deck, you are ready to ask your cards about the chorus.

You may choose one card, three cards or any spread you like. I like to let the spirit lead me and intuition. If one card jumps out as shuffling, that will be my card(s) I will interpret for this song. A major arcana card will start our chorus but most of all it was only one card. The card is  Judgment. I think the song will be called  Moving On as found as one of the keywords for De La Nuit tarot deck by Carole Anne Eschenazi.

As the tarot book explains that this judgment means moving on, it could be a crossroad and purging one’s soul. That’s a simple rebirth. Remember a song is a story told with rhythm with most not exceeding three minutes and thirty seconds. 

This time I shuffled the cards and asked what will be my verse one for this song?

As I shuffled there were actually three cards that popped out of my hands while dealing. Please take note if you like spreading the cards, picking randomly, or just seeing which cards just want to pop out into your song is your choice. I allow the cards to pop out. Make that personal connection with your deck. Since our chorus was unstable and three cards popped out I chose to keep the verse stable. No more than six lines. This creates a stable verse for our song. 

6 swords can mean being regretful, letting go and in love moving from a relationship.

5 wands meaning of arguments fights this song well to say it was a card to pop out for a good pop song. The lyrics I used from my intuition fits nicely to know in love there is a conflict.

9 cups  give us the feeling of being stable, wanting satisfaction.

So refer back to your tarot book for the card. Make a connection and look at the details that catch your eyes. Listen to the intuitive message for your verse.

It’s normal for songwriters to keep all verse stable in their songs. So I am going to use six lines.

I chose to let the cards land how they choose, let them pop out. There were only two cards. So that means I will be writing three lines to keep six lines in the verse. The two cards are

I found that to be magical since both cards are from the same group. Most of all the elements of earth. This girl or guy is back to earth from that relationship illusion they were in.

So you see from my example an easily completed song using tarot and my intuition. As tarot readers, whether using it for special occasions, business, or just everyday life. A songwriter too can use it. Everyone who’s up for a new craft. So as a songwriter let me now show you the finished work.

Become a Bedroom Diva for Your Hubby

Role-playing in sex can be rewarding. Many women play as nurses, teachers, maids or even law enforcers. It gives us the feel of child play when we were younger. The one thing I loved the most doing is being a bedroom diva. Let me add yes I once was married before.  This should be done on a very special occasion. It might be your lover’s birthday, an anniversary or maybe Christmas or Valentine Day. There is a little work to it because you are not just a stripper with a wig and a song on the radio lip-synching. Let’s face it your man would love to see all your goodies bare naked but strip clubs offer the same. As women, we want to try to keep our lover attention. Most of all every female have an inner playgirl. So it is normal to hear your lover call you cupcake, honey, and baby in public while strangers overhear. Of course, they assume you two are an item. This is where you want to build from. A bedroom diva brings out your creativity. I know it is hard to believe but a female pastor once said what you got to get him you have to continue to do keep him. Well, that might sound out of line for some stuck-up Christian but it's the truth. Yes, the bible does talk about coming together as one so the enemy will not tempt you.  It does not matter how lady like you are you can achieve the bedroom diva.

One of the first things you would have to do is start writing. Lyric writing is a craft and not just some raw talent. That is right. Let your love pour on the page. Maybe your man nickname is boss, a Mr. Big, or stallion. You want all those heated emotions put into words. I recommend using the basic rhyming scheme. Remember this is between you and your lover. It is the thought and work put into it and not if you're a master of the skill lyric writing. The basic scheme starts with a simple format. I call it the A, B and C. Here is an example of A, B and C scheme.

There are many online rhyming dictionaries that will help you to match your scheme. There is a free trial try of Master Writers software for poets and songwriting. It can be found at masterwriter.com. It might take a little while to get your words together but here are some steps while your sex diva comes alive.

Tips

1. Save everything and throw nothing away. This is the first thing that writers learn. The reason behind this is because you never know what you can use later when an idea hits.
2. Analyze other sexual songs you enjoy or that release your sexual energy. This will help later when you are putting your lyrics to music.
3. Show it and don’t tell it. If your vagina throbbing doesn’t say I am hot. Put some creativity to and say your overheated amazon.
4. Make yourself write even when you have writer block, if it is bad, or it make no sense at all.

The bedroom diva has put her emotions on paper. You can actually sing it yourself. 

You are ready for step two. That is finding someone to sing it and put some music to your grooving. I thought this step would be the hardest. The truth is there are many companies on the web doing demos for lyric writers. Some ranging lesser than two hundred dollars. Make sure you explain to the company you choose that you are doing this for a special occasion. The reason is that some only choose songs that have the possibility of being sold. I am pretty sure if they understand your reasons it can be done. Here are a few that you can find on the web.

ParamountSong.com and Demomysong.com is a few to name among the market on the website. There are also local recording studios in most large cities. You might have a problem finding someone to sing it. So take that into consideration. After you have found the right company to make your demo and bring life to your words, you need to figure out will it be one instrument, a band and how many vocals. We all know it will be a female singer but what kind of music? Would you want a ballad or tempo? Should the song be sung in country, pop, R&B? This is the few decisions you will make on your order. Here is a belief vocabulary.

One instrument

A piano or guitar played alone.

Band

A group of five instruments to make a unique sound.

While you preparing for your demo arrive you might want to start thinking on an outfit. Who is your inner sex diva? Many places like Fredrick of Hollywood, Victoria Secret can be found right in your local area. You can also search the web for stores like your nipplecovers.com or stripperboutique.net.  Will you need a wig? Your local hair store has many wigs and costume stores as well. Do you need to lose a few pounds to make her come true? Most of all you want to start buying exercise tapes like Flirty Girls collection or some Carmen Electra Striptease. Let’s face it Zumba is on hold for tonight. You want to work up a sweat in the bed and not the dance floor. Some of us girls who play divas watch music videos on YouTube. It can help give you ideas on your performance while learning a few. If you are close to forty or forty plus and don’t have an idea. Do what I do, talk to the younger generation of girls. I find dance moves from my daughter and nieces. Get the in style. You not too old to twerk. Remember this is a private moment between you and your lover. There is no judges to rate you. So drop it like it’s hot. Make sure you do your checklist.

It is here! The demo of your song has arrived. Your bedroom diva is completed. Now you have to sample all those good moves you learn while exercising to make a licentious diva striptease he will never forget. Show off your G-string thong, lingerie, nipple covers, Marilyn Monroe costume. Enjoy the behind the red curtain tonight while you perform and not being on the red carpet. I bet your lover will think twice of that night when he sees another music video. A bedroom diva just for him.

Create Songs From Empowering Dreams

I said the moment I started subscribing to others songwriters who share valuable information on how to write a song, I will share how I wrote songs before any prior training.  The one reason is that if songwriting seen like work than the fun is taken away of the whole craft. If someone had to journal who did not like to journal their day would find it as work.  Most of all work they hate. Since writing a hit song is like winning the lottery than songwriting should only be done by those who love it. I love writing songs and I love doing it every day. The one thing I learned through professionals is that an estimate of three songs out of a hundred you will write might get placed. So the possibilities of writing more than one hit song are like hitting the big pot lottery more than once or walking into a casino coming out a millionaire.

A few years ago, I purchase a dream journal. I use to try to keep my dreams written on the pc, but computer goes down. Most of all your valuable information can be lost or thrown to the world out there never know what happen to it. I learned through my journal that dreams inspired so much entertainment we see today. That includes the music we hear on the radio. Once you start journaling songs everytime a line come to you, believe me, it will come in your dreams. I only talk from experience.

Many artists who are legends wake to a perfect creation that we all sing from time to time.  

Michael Jackson would wake up from his dreams to jot down words he hears on paper. Paul McCartney of Beatles wrote “Yesterday” in a dream. Sheryl! They are singers/ songwriters! Paul Webster who wrote “ Love Is A Many Splendored Thing”  was a songwriter. Richard Wagner dreamed an entire opera called “Tristan und Isolde.” What about a nightmare? Yes, Tartini wrote the Devil Trill from a nightmare that included the devil. He dreamed he pact the devil for the beat.

It might sound frightening, I also experience a more heavenly chorus sung to me after a long rejected letters of my writing regards faith. I also had just that. I used it for a chorus and later I paid a professional to sing it. I will include a link for you to hear it.

I continue the song. I  woke writing two verses to complete a whole lyric sheet. The song was later called Believe. That is one reason no matter how big my giant is, I continue as though they are not there.  

Sharing My Story:

After continuing rejections from my writing, I decided to go to my first writing conference here in my local city. I sat among many writers who had their books published. All the writers in this group write only books. I sat out among the rest dabbling in songwriting and screen also. I was desperate to get published. After becoming disabled from my illness, the doctors said I would always be able to write. Most of all no one is stealing your writing, so I should feel free at home.  I joined Romance Writer of America as well and took up writer workshops online and also pay a year subscription to Universal Courses taking tons of writing courses that give you CEU’s. Nothing.

I sat by a fourteen-year-old who was published. That night I prayed before I went to bed asking my higher power who is Jesus to tell me to give up. Most of all give me something to do or focus on when I wake up.

In my dream, I got in a white car. The white car drove me but I believed it to be one of my older sisters. Most of all the one that is a minister. The male voice of an angel sung out to me on the ride:

I know that you may have your doubts

You figure there is no way out

If God can raise the red sea?
If the Son of God can make a blind man see?

There is nothing impossible if you Believe.

I woke up with tears in my eyes. I ran to try to jot everything down. I did get at least these words from my dream which I made as a chorus in my religious song " Believe". That was the dream I had in 2014.

Do songs come all the time in a dream? No. We do know that dream journaling can help you learn about yourself and create many other things like novels. Maybe the legends have experienced more than once in a lifetime. Many people have issues on recalling what they dream. So if you are interested in catching some creative songs or some create stories to write songs, dream journaling might be something you might want to add to create.

Here are few things you might want to take to bed with you:

1. A Pencil or Pen.
2. Journal of your choice.
3. Crystals if your into that kind of stuff. Some believe that sleeping with a Lepidolite. It help treats mental health disorders since it contains a natural form of lithium. Also a crown chakra.
4. Scent. Yes, some people feel better with certain essential oils circulating their room from the diffuser.
5. Invite your higher power to be with you. I sometimes sleep with a rosary or the bible somewhere near. Maybe you're into dream catchers as Native American. Some culture gives their children special dolls like worry doll to sleep with. Your dream time is not limited and it represents you.
6. Pray or Meditate.

While I was taking tons of courses for CEU’s that involve some good creative things I decided to try to take interpreting dreams. Well, I found out that was not me. So I decide to find a dream journal and lucky at a book in town, I found “The Dream Experience” by Brenda Mallon that came with a CD. I never got to use the CD since somehow it was broken. I rush to creative chapter.

After my battle within myself about book writing and writing in general, I took inspiration from my dream to continue. Most of all taking my daughter to her high school when she was a teenager was inspiring with a dream I jotted down. “Flower Moon” was written. No, it was never published. A one or two publisher I let seen it past but it not the story. You see Flower Moon has never been rewritten from its rough draft or even edited. While putting a lot of time and money for a rejection I decided to just send it in as raw and rare as it could get. The publishers advise was plenty if ever chosen to pick it up again. I made a cute trailer and now on Wattpad for readers in it’s the first draft.  Maybe the fact about Mary Shelley the author is true after all. She only wrote a book about her nightmare and called it Frankenstein.

As a Songwriter, You have Nothing to Lose. If you’re looking at a blank sheet, after a dream you will not be. At least an idea will be there if not a SURPRISE  song.
